City Break Style

At the beginning of March I went to Krakow, Poland and it was the perfect city break (and quite possibly my last holiday in a while - thanks Coronavirus!). It’s crazy times at the moment and hope you’re all staying safe and staying home. If you’re anything like me, all I’ve been wearing recently is joggers or Pyjamas! But I thought I would still write this post to give some inspo to myself and anyone who might read this, so we can use our new found spare time to plan outfits for everywhere we’ll be going when this is all over! The gorgeous girls at Femme Luxe were kind enough to let me pick some items from their site to wear on my trip so I also wanted to show you these gorgeous pieces!

I wanted practical but trendy clothing for the day and something a bit dressier for the night-time. The first item I chose for the daytime was this belted utility cargo jacket in stone which I absolutely love and think it looks way more expensive than what it is! I also love that it comes with 2 different belts - a buckle belt (shown in picture) and a seatbelt buckle style to give you different options to wear! I paired it with these faux leather look leggings which were perfect for exploring all day in the city as they're super comfy but look really trendy. They're definitely a staple in my wardrobe, I love that they can be dressed down and casual with trainers or dressed up with heels.

One trend of the past year that I've personally really loved is puffy sleeves, and no one does them better than Femme Luxe. As soon as I saw this floral puff sleeved top I knew it would be the perfect for those 'jeans and a nice top' occasions. I chose it in this gorgeous pink shade but it's available in so many different colours! I paired it with black jeans and boots for the night but you could also make it more casual and wear in the daytime with blue denim jeans and trainers.

One thing I really love about Femme Luxe is that you can find some really lovely pieces that are on trend but also super unique to all the other clothing websites which all seem to sell the exact same products!
